Board Composition

The School Board will be composed of a minimum six (6) members to a maximum of twelve (12) members from the following categories:

  1. Representatives of U.S. Organizations and Associations;
  2. Elected Representatives; and
  3. Appointed Representatives.

Monthly Regular Board meetings are held on the 3 rd Tuesday of the month at 6:00 pm in the Boardroom - floor of the Administration/Elementary building. All members of the CAC community are welcome to attend. Open Session Agenda and Minutes of the meeting, and Board News are posted on CAC Board website.

At the start of each year the School Board forms Standing Committees concerned with particular aspects of the Board's work. Members of the administration and faculty may be asked to join some of these Committees as needed. The Board Committees for 2012/2013 are as follows:

•  Facilities Committee

•  Finance Committee

•  Trustee Committee

•  Education Committee

The School Board Chair and the Superintendent are ex-officio members of all Board Committees. Board members are the only voting members of the Committees.
